Worship with us

What to expect on Sunday Mornings

Worship Service: 10:30 am
All are welcome to attend worship services at Beech.  You will find Bible-based teaching with applications for your daily life as we seek to follow our congregation’s mission: Becoming a body of devoted followers of Jesus Christ in daily living.

Music includes both traditional hymns led by a song leader, and contemporary praise & worship songs led by our Praise Team.  You may hear some in the congregation singing hymns in four-part harmony–that’s a Mennonite tradition that many learned as children (but it’s not required!).

You can follow along with the order of the service in the program, usually handed out by the greeters in the lobby before church.  Bibles and hymnals can be found on the pew in front of you.

Children are special to us at Beech!  Children are invited to attend Junior Church during the sermon.  There they’ll have a special activity and a little play time while parents hear the message.  Nursery care is available for infants through age 2 during the entire service if parents wish, or they are more than welcome in the sanctuary as well.

You can expect to find people dressed in just about any way, from jeans to “Sunday Best.”  Please come as you feel comfortable–you’ll probably find someone dressed the similarly.  Some may hear the word “Mennonite” and expect to see head coverings on the women of the church.  While this is part of our congregation’s rich history, it is not a practice that is currently observed at Beech.

Mid-Week Programming: Beech Mennonite Church seeks to build the Body of Christ through numerous ministries throughout the week.  These include (but are not limited to): MYF (youth group for Jr. and Sr. High students), Beech Women Serving, numerous church commissions, fellowship activities, Boys’ and Girls’ clubs, and more.  Check our Facebook Page for the latest mid-week activities.
